Biography
Jane Sutcliffe was born and brought up in North Wales. After spending time with Clwyd Youth Theatre, she graduated from Birmingham University and École Jacques Lecoq in Paris. She has been working in the field of physical theatre for over thirty years.
Jane creates dynamic, visual, physical theatre exploring contemporary issues and archetypal themes. Creating and touring performance work she offers workshops and residencies to accompany performances.

Jane is passionate about creating new original physical theatre performance and often works in collaboration with other artists and companies. Her expertise in calming movement and Clown work and years of experience of working with people with disabilities is much needed in the delivery of these workshops.
Her specialties are: Creative Movement for Wellbeing, Physical Theatre, Clown & Physical Comedy and Maskwork & Commedia dell’Arte.
