Juliette Burton: No Brainer Workshop

Developed with Arts Council England Funding, Next Gen Creatives at Attenborough Arts Centre, Imagine Inclusion Educational Psychology Services and Luton Next Generation Youth Group.

We’ve all got a brain… Although some work better than others. Juliette’s brain was broken and, in attempting to fix it, she’s learned a lot!
This workshop explores psychological safety and boundaries. Using her award-winning career in stand-up comedy as an example, Juliette uses creative activities to look at how much of ourselves we give away when we stand in front of a crowd or post on social media, teaching simple methods to input boundaries, control the nervous system, and ensure healthy mental attitudes in your work and in your life.

Juliette has won the Argus Angel Award (Brighton Fringe), Spirit Of The Fringe Award (Bedfringe) and Voice Mag’s Pick Of The Fringe Award (EdFringe). As seen & heard on BBC1, ITV, Radio 4 & Radio 5 Live and total sell out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2023.

“Her own lived experience, mixed with her extraordinary talents as an artist has and will continue to save lives.” Jake Mills – Chief executive of Chasing The Stigma

“It was an absolute pleasure having Juliette – to date, our staff team have said that Juliette has been the best INSET we have ever had. She has a brilliant way of connecting with everyone, absolutely inspirational.” Work Skills Learning, London
